Hi, I’m Joy Enyinnaya— the heart behind Jepsession!
I’m a family-focused photographer based in Chilliwack, BC, with a love for capturing real, meaningful moments. Whether it’s a gentle glance between parents, a giggle from a toddler, or the quiet joy of a growing family, I believe every photo tells a story worth remembering.
I’ve been freelancing for over 7 years, and my passion for storytelling goes even further. I have a PhD in Media and Communication, and I’ve spent years studying how people connect through images and words. Originally from Nigeria, I moved to the U.S. for my Master’s and PhD, and then made my way to Canada for work and family life. Now, Chilliwack is home — and I’m grateful to serve this beautiful and diverse community.
At Jepsession, I care deeply about representation. I’m intentional about making sure every person and family feels safe, celebrated, and seen, no matter your background or story. As a wife to Virtue Enyinnaya and a proud mom of three amazing children, I understand how fast time moves — and how important it is to pause and keep the memories.
